Licence
Free downloads are for personal use. Pro adds a commercial licence with no attribution required. The sections below spell out exactly what you can and cannot do.
The two tiers.
- Free. Publicly visible preview backgrounds, downloadable for personal, non-commercial use only.
- Pro. Full original 4K (and 8K where the source allows) for every image collection released under the Pro tier. Commercial licence, no attribution required. See the Pro page for current pricing and access terms.
What Pro lets you do.
- Use in commercial work, including for paying clients.
- Use across digital and print media — websites, apps, social, decks, packaging, ads.
- Crop, recolour, retouch, composite, and otherwise modify the asset to fit your work.
- Skip attribution. Crediting statikvoid is appreciated but never required.
What is prohibited (Free and Pro).
- Standalone redistribution. Do not post the file (modified or not) to other download sites, wallpaper galleries, or asset directories.
- Resale. The asset cannot be sold, sublicensed, or made available as a separate product.
- Templates and asset packs. Do not include the asset in templates, themes, UI kits, or stock libraries that you distribute to others.
- Machine-learning training. Do not use the asset to train, fine-tune, or feed any AI or generative model.
- NFTs. Do not mint or sell the asset as a non-fungible token or any other blockchain-based representation.
- Unlawful or harmful content. No defamatory, hateful, harassing, pornographic, or otherwise unlawful use.
Free tier additional limit.
Free downloads cover personal portfolios, personal study, and non-commercial blogs. Any commercial use — client work, paid promotion, products you sell — requires Pro.
Team and agency use.
The Pro licence is account-bound: it covers the work the licence-holder produces, including client deliverables. It does not cover handing the source files to your whole agency or team for them to use independently. For an extended licence, write to [email protected].
Termination.
Material breach terminates the licence automatically. A refund (see Terms) also ends it — you must stop using the asset and delete the source files. The restrictions in section 03 survive termination.
Future content.
Pro covers all current and future image collections released under the Pro tier. It does not extend to future product lines outside image collections (for example, motion or video), which would be sold and licensed separately.
